Hi, I'm Laura, a freelance marketeer, copywriter and PR plate spinner, specialising in tourism and leisure.

Based in beautiful Cornwall, I have over 20 years' of experience, working with clients across the country, both remotely and in person. Specialising in tourism and leisure, I offer everything from ad hoc support to strategic consultancy and campaign delivery.

My varied background has seen me build and launch websites, set up and run my own tour company in South Africa, support high profile ERDF projects, manage the PR, content and marketing for Visit Isles of Scilly and VentureSail Holidays, provide marketing and PR support for Visit Cornwall, work with Visit England to produce products for the US travel market, create tour products for the UK cruise industry, produce hundreds of correctly optimised web pages, write copy for numerous brochures, adverts, editorials and social media campaigns as well as supporting a local business through the B Corp process.

Much of my work is white label, working for agencies and clients as ‘one of their own’. A strong team player, I love a challenge, thrive under pressure and have successfully driven a host of projects and campaigns – meeting demanding deadlines and tight budgets every single time.

With over 20 year's marketing experience, I have devised, managed and implemented numerous strategic marketing campaigns. I am well-connected with a other freelancers across a range of disciplines which enables me to deliver everything from graphic-first campaigns to websites.

During my career I have also built strong partnerships and managed relationships with multiple businesses whilst delivering numerous year-round marketing campaigns and guidebooks for them.
